Breakfast is served in a separate building, specially constructed to welcome you
in the best possible way. Here, I've created a kitchen where every morning I prepare fresh bread and homemade
cakes, just like my grandmothers used to do.
My desserts often feature fruit picked from our trees and spices grown
in my garden—little touches that bring the flavors of our land to the table.
The central table is the same one where my grandmother kneaded her pastries, so much so that she
ate them with her patient hands. It's the heart of the kitchen, where gestures
that give the scent of home are passed down.
We chose to create a single, large, and welcoming table where guests
can sit together, chat, share experiences, and perhaps discover
new friends. It's a space designed to foster social interaction, because we believe that the
beauty of travel lies in encounters.
The terracotta floor is made from the original bricks from my grandfather's house. We
recovered and cleaned them by hand during the renovation: today they continue to support
new stories, new people, new encounters.
Every morning I prepare fresh bread, traditional pastries, tarts, plum cakes, cookies, and homemade cakes. Yogurt, granola, seasonal fruit, and eggs are also available, along with a selection of local cured meats and cheeses.
For those who like to start the day with energy, the juicer and extractor are available to make fresh juices. Tea and coffee are also available.

I'm a simple person with a spirit rooted in times gone by, when life moved more slowly and people were closer together. People cultivated the land with respect, cooked on a wood-burning stove, and built things with their own hands, often from wood. Every house had farmyard animals, flowers on the windowsill, fruit trees, and patiently planted vegetable gardens.
There were daily gestures that seem almost lost today: homemade bread, preserves, grape harvests. These are traditions I long to revive, offering my guests an authentic experience, made of small details, familiar aromas, and a sincere welcome.
The area can be explored by car, bike, or on foot: the Val Rosandra trail starts just a few minutes from the house, connecting to other routes leading to Monte Carso or Monte Stena, while the bus stop for Trieste is just 5 minutes away.
For cycling enthusiasts, the nearby Giordano Cottur cycle/pedestrian path, the Parenzana railway, and the enchanting Carso region are also nearby.
The center of Trieste is just a 15-minute drive away, and for those arriving by train, there are direct buses to Trieste station.
